You know your jetlag is over when you sleep through an alarm (iPhone right next to you).
After another day of programming, the highlight of the day was a surprise visit by Pyladies SF’s founder Lynn Root (one of us asked if she changed her last name to suit a programming career, turns out it was real. Definitely a cool name to have!).
Lynn shared about her background and experience. Coming from a finance/economics background, she stumbled upon programming from her path to pursuing a PhD. She is very passionate about supporting women in technology and is definitely very resourceful.
It is really exciting to have a vibrant network of female entrepreneurs / engineers in the city!
Here are a list of resources that Lynn shared with us. Thanks Lynn!
